Wouldn’t You Like to Know How to Do Coin Tricks?

071208table1The other night I was at a party and this one guy had the attention of everyone in the room.  It took me a few minutes just to climb over the crowd so I could see him, but when I finally saw what everyone was looking at, I was astounded too.  This fellow had figured out how to do coin tricks so well, it looked like I was watching some sort of magical movie!

Coin tricks, like card tricks, are a great way to amuse a crowd.  Everyone has a few coins lying around, and everyone likes being entertained.  Tricks with coins are especially fun because people use money everyday, which makes for dozens of opportunities to perform.  Things like vanishing a coin into thin air, getting change for a dollar, and other types of “sure fire winners” that you can use at the bar for an endless supply of free drinks.  For some people the question isn’t “How to do coin tricks”, but “which coin trick should I use?” because there are so many to choose from.

Learn a Magic Trick in Minutes!

Posted by admin on March 27th, 2009

risingcard3-finalI don’t know about you, but I do not have a lot of free time these days.  Between friends, work, and family, I am busy busy busy all day long.  That tight schedule doesn’t mean that I’m too busy to learn a magic trick, though!

Bongo’s real name was William Wallace and he was one of the giants of modern British magic. In 2008 he became the hugely admired President of the Magic Circle, the association of magicians.

Learn Magic For Free

Posted by admin on March 15th, 2009

floatingmatchThis is not the best time in history to be in need of money.  In fact, it’s a pretty tough time to try and make a living, let alone spend money on a fun and exciting hobby.  That’s why you should spend time learning something that won’t cost a ton of money.  Think about learning a simple instrument, learning to draw, or better yet, learn magic!  Magic can be a great boost to the mind and spirit, and it isn’t a burden on your checkbook.  In some instances, you can learn magic for next to nothing.  Some tricks you can even learn for free!

I had a good friend in college who knew how to play card tricks.  He could do almost anything, and he was entertaining for hours.  He could deal out all four aces off the top, or hide your card and make it jump out of the deck later.  Once he rigged the deck so that every time someone picked a card, it was the same one!

collectionIf you have always dreamed of capturing the hearts and minds of the crowd, but you didn’t know where to begin, maybe you should consider learning magic.  Magic and magical illusions are some of the most amusing spectacles on the planet.

Everyone loves to be stumped, and magic is a personal and touching way to pass the time.  You may have always wanted to learn, but thought that the lessons would be too expensive.  That would be the case if you tried to apprentice with a professional magician.  Luckily, there are many ways to learn tricks cheaply, or in some instances to learn magic free of charge entirely!
